A new element, the Sierram element, was discovered on an island created by a planet crash. This element greatly improved the performance of conventional machines, and this innovation brought a premonition of a storm to people.

Later, these mechas came to be called "ST" as inventions blessed by steel and thyella.

Mihama Island is home to different factions with their own objectives. The main character pursues the mystery of his father, who died a suspicious death there.
